How to accept credit card payments from attendees without PayPal accounts?
To buy tickets and make payments online, your attendees do not require a PayPal account. However, in some cases, you will notice that attendees are required to pay using their existing PayPal account or create a new PayPal account during checkout.
This happens, when the event organizer has a restricted or unverified PayPal account linked to the event page.
Please complete these 3 items and PayPal will automatically enable your attendees to pay using credit cards and they will not be required to create PayPal accounts.
1. Please verify your PayPal account by linking a credit card or bank account.
2. Please upgrade your PayPal account to Business or Premier account. It is free.
3. Please remove any receiving or sending limits on your PayPal account.
