What happens when a payment is under review?

“Under Review” Status means that the payment was collected successfully, however, those funds are in review by the Risk Management team at our payment processor called WePay. 

They periodically send payments through this manual review process to help protect the security of you and your users and mitigate fraud risk.

While the payment is in the review, the transaction will remain in the “PENDING” state until the process is complete, which generally takes 1-2 business days. 

Once finished, the transaction will automatically be updated to “CONFIRMED” Status. The payment will be released to your account (ready for withdrawal in your next withdrawal cycle) and the tickets released to your attendee(s). 

If the payment review results in a transaction being declined, you will be notified by email of this outcome and the payment transaction will be reversed.
