Accepting payments online with PayPal:
You can use a PayPal account to start accepting payments online using Eventzilla.
You will be required to enter the merchant id that you use on your PayPal account during the event setup process.
The money from online registrations will be directly sent to your PayPal account and our fee is automatically deducted from your Paypal account.
Attendees do not require a PayPal account to make payments for your events. They can use any major credit card like Visa, Mastercard, Amex and optionally use their PayPal account if they have one.

How Attendees pay when PayPal is linked to the event page?
Attendees are routed to Paypal site to carry out their payments, They can either use the Paypal account or simply pay using their credit card. Once the transaction successfully completes, Attendee will receive the payment confirmation receipt from Paypal and an order receipt from Eventzilla to their respective email address.

Paypal Fee: The fee charged by PayPal is usually 2.9%+ $ 0.30 cents per transaction. The PayPal fee includes credit card charges.

How to accept credit card payments from attendees without PayPal accounts?
To buy tickets and make payments online, your attendees do not require a PayPal account. However, in some cases, you will notice that attendees are required to pay using their existing PayPal account or create a new PayPal account during checkout.
This happens, when the event organizer has a restricted or unverified PayPal account linked to the event page.
Please complete these 3 items and PayPal will automatically enable your attendees to pay using credit cards and they will not be required to create PayPal accounts.
