How to specify tax settings for your event?
Tax does not get added to donation ticket category.
Steps to add tax
- Go to Registration > Ticket/Registration
- Go to Taxation settings
Toggle the option "Enable tax for this event's registrations."
Specify tax details:
Tax name
Enter a descriptive name for the tax. This is the exact tax norm that the attendee can identify during registration.
Tax rate
Configure the tax rate as a flat amount or a percentage of the ticket price.
Select tax configuration:
Inclusive of transaction amount:
If you choose to include the tax in the total price, you will not notice a difference in your total ticket cost. You will be responsible for paying the tax, and your pay-out will be reduced accordingly.
Exclusive of transaction amount:
Tax rates specified cannot be edited or updated once the registration has started for the event.
Now all the specified registrations will have sales tax added during the checkout process.
