Different Check-In Options in Kiosk Mode
There are two different check-in options to enable with the Kiosk mode.
Option 1: Scan and Check-In
Scan and check-in allows your attendees to quickly and easily check in using their QR code. This option utilizes the camera on the check-in device. Follow the steps below to enable and use this option:
- Launch the Eventzilla app on the check-in device
- On the Kiosk check-in screen, instruct attendees to present their QR code to the camera.
- Once the camera detects the QR code, the app will automatically extract the ticket details.
- Verify the ticket details displayed on the screen and click the check-in button to complete the process.
- The attendee's status will be updated to "Checked-in" in real-time.
Option 2: Allow your attendees to search name and check-in.
With the scan and search name option, you allow your attendees to check in either with their email address or name. Organizers can choose to enable this option to process either check-in with
- Name only
- Email address only
- Both with the name and email address
Follow the steps below to enable and use this option:
- Access the Kiosk mode through the Eventzilla app.
- On the Kiosk check-in screen, attendees will have the option to give their name, email address or both based on the organizer's specification.
- Attendees can enter the required information and proceed with the check-in process.
- Verify the attendee's details displayed on the screen and click the check-in button to complete the process.
- The attendee's status will be updated to "Checked-in" in real-time.
By offering these different check-in options in Kiosk mode, you can cater to the preferences and convenience of your attendees. Ensure that the check-in process is clearly communicated to your attendees to ensure a smooth and efficient experience at your event.
