Kiosk Mode - Printing name badges
If you're using a kiosk mode for checking in clients at your event, you can easily set up name badges and print them on compatible printers. Here's a step-by-step guide on how to do it:
Creating Name badge template - Log in to your Eventzilla account > Click on advanced settings section > Name badges
Design a Badge: Within the name badge settings, click on the "Design a badge" option. This will allow you to create a customized name badge template for your event.
Select the Name Badge: Choose the appropriate name badge template from the available options. In this case, you can select from the supported printer label models listed below:

Print Name Badges: Once you have set up the name badge template and selected the appropriate printer, you are ready to print the name badges. In kiosk mode, the name badges can be printed automatically as clients check-in.
Check Printer Compatibility: If you plan to use a Zebra printer, please note that it's listed as "coming soon" in the supported printer list.
Once you have created and saved the desired name badge design, follow these steps to ensure the selected badge templates are set to print for all ticket types or specific ticket types on the Print name badge section of the Kiosk check-in page:
- Access the Kiosk Check-in Page: Log in to your Eventzilla account >Event check-in > Kiosk check-in.
- Locate the Print Name Badge Section: Enable the option to print name badges
- Select Badge Templates: Within the Print name badge section, you should see the option to select the badge templates. Make sure to choose the exact name badge design that you want to print for all ticket types or specific ticket types.
- Choose All Ticket Types or Specific Ticket Types: Depending on your requirements, select either "Use one name badge design for all check-ins" or "Select a different name badge design for each ticket type." If you choose "Select a different name badge design for each ticket type," you may need to specify badge templates for each of the ticket categories listed.
Save Changes: After selecting the appropriate badge templates specified for each of the ticket types (if applicable), click on the "Save changes" button to apply the settings.
By following these steps and saving the changes, you ensure that the selected name badge design will be printed for all the specified ticket types during the check-in process in the Kiosk mode.
