Prerequisites:

  1. Event Creation: Make sure you have already created an event in Eventzilla and configured Stripe as the payment method.

    Skip Registration details

  • where organizers can enable a "Guest mode" that allows attendees to register without providing their own registration details. Instead, the organizer's email address, first name, and last name will be automatically filled in for all attendees who register in this mode.

This feature can be useful in scenarios where quick on-site registrations or bookings are necessary, and attendees may not have the time or willingness to fill out their information individually.

Step 5: Connect to the Stripe Card Reader

  • To process the payment, click on the "Credit/Debit Card Stripe Reader" option.
  • Select the Stripe reader you have available. This step involves connecting to a physical card reader for payment processing.
  • When you connect a new Stripe account or Stripe reader and initiate a payment transaction, the system prompts you to enter profile details such as your name and address.

If these profile details are already stored in the Organizer's profile within the system, the system will automatically fetch this information for you. You would then need to verify the details and proceed with the payment.

However, if the required profile details are not available in the Organizer's profile, you may need to manually enter the necessary information to process payments with Stripe.

This process helps streamline payment transactions and ensures that accurate information is used for payment processing while also reducing the need for redundant data entry.

Step 6: Grant Location and Bluetooth Access

  • To connect to a Stripe reader, the Eventzilla Organizer app requires access to your current location and Bluetooth functionality.
  • Go to your device settings and allow location access for the "Eventzilla Organizer" app.

Step 7: Enable Bluetooth Access

  • The app will request Bluetooth access to connect to the Stripe reader. Grant permission for this.

Step 8: Select the Stripe Reader

  • Once you have enabled location and Bluetooth access, select the appropriate Stripe reader from the list of available devices.

Step 9: Complete the Payment

  • Click on the selected Stripe reader, and it will prompt you to "Pay Now."
  • The attendee can then tap, swipe, or insert their card into the Stripe reader for payment.
