HubSpot Integration with Eventzilla: A Step-by-Step Guide

Eventzilla’s integration with HubSpot allows you to seamlessly turn event attendees into leads while tracking their activities throughout their event journey directly within the HubSpot CRM. This integration enables real-time synchronization of attendee details and rich engagement data, providing you with a comprehensive view of your attendee event interactions.


Automatic Registration Sync:

Eventzilla will automatically sync attendee registrations to HubSpot

Session Enrolment and Attendance Data:

Automatic synchronization of session enrolment and attendance data to HubSpot.

Activity Data Sync:

Sync detailed activity data to HubSpot, enabling the creation of personalized customer journeys.


Connect HubSpot Account:

    • Log in to your Eventzilla account.
    • Navigate to Account Settings > For Developers > Integrations > Click on 'Connect.'
    • If you don’t have a HubSpot account, create one or log in to your existing account.
    • Choose the appropriate sub-account (if applicable) and click on 'Connect.'

OAuth Authorization:

Upon successful OAuth, your HubSpot account will be connected to your Eventzilla account.

Initiate Sync at Event Level:

    • Note that updating date fields is only available when sync is turned off.

Default and Additional Fields:

    • By default, you'll have predefined fields to map. Additional fields can be mapped as needed.

Activity Synchronization:

    • Choose the activities in your Eventzilla customer journey that you want to export to the HubSpot contact’s activity timeline.

To ensure a comprehensive view of your attendees' interactions, Eventzilla allows you to selectively synchronize key activities in your customer journey to your HubSpot contact's activity timeline. Follow these steps to configure activity synchronization:


  1. New Registration at Event:
    • Synchronizes an event registration to the corresponding HubSpot contact’s activity timeline.

      Attendee Checked In to Event:

    • Synchronizes when an attendee checks in to their corresponding HubSpot contact’s activity timeline.

      Attendee Enrolled for a Session:

    • Synchronizes a session enrollment to the corresponding HubSpot contact’s activity timeline.

      Attendee Checked In to a Session:

    • Synchronizes an attendee’s check-in at a session to their corresponding HubSpot contact’s activity timeline.

      Attendee Responded to a Survey:

    • Synchronizes an event survey response by an attendee to their corresponding HubSpot contact’s activity timeline.


Save Settings: Once you have selected the activities you want to synchronize, click on the "Save Settings" button to apply and store your preferences.


NOTE- Absolutely, enabling synchronization is a crucial step to kickstart the seamless flow of data between Eventzilla and HubSpot. Ensure to turn on the sync once you have configured the settings.
