Know about the option to "Collect Pre-event Information Prior to Event Creation" Feature
The "Collect Pre-event Information Prior to Event Creation" feature is designed to streamline the event creation process by gathering essential details from organizers upfront. This helps in tailoring the event creation experience and ensures a smoother journey for event organizers on the platform.
How It Works: When initiating the event creation process, users will encounter a popup prompting them to provide two fundamental pieces of information:
- How will your event be conducted?
Organizer need to select one of the following options:
- In person: Direct event to be attended physically.
- Virtual: Online event to be attended remotely.
Hybrid: Combination registration for an event happening both in-person and virtually.
- Will attendees pay to attend your event?
Choose between:
- Yes: A paid event with at least one paid ticket.
No: Only a free event with no paid registration required.
After selecting both options, click "Let's Get Started" to proceed to the first step of event creation. Depending on your choices, the venue option will be pre-selected and displayed in the second step of event creation, ensuring a tailored experience.
Can organizers change the "How will your event be conducted" option during event creation?
Yes, organizers can modify the selected option for event conduct during the second step of event creation. This flexibility allows you to adjust your event format as needed throughout the creation process.
If an organizer selects "No" for "Will attendees pay to attend your event" and proceeds, can they still create a paid event?
Yes, users can still opt to create a paid event even if they initially select "No" for "Will attendees pay to attend your event." This option provides flexibility, allowing organizers to adapt the event's payment settings based on their preferences or changing circumstances.
