How to link an existing Zoom event to the online event page?
If you've already created a Zoom meeting or webinar and would like to link it to the online event page, follow these simple steps to integrate your Zoom meeting and ensure a seamless registration experience for your attendees.
Access the Zoom integration settings
Log in to your account
Navigate to Set Up > Online Event Page > Click on Connect Zoom.
Click on the Select an Existing Meeting button.
Select your existing Zoom meeting or webinar
A dropdown menu will appear with a list of your existing Zoom meetings and webinars.
Browse through the list and select the meeting or webinar you want to link to the event.
Automatic sync of session information
Once you've selected your Zoom meeting, Eventzilla will automatically sync certain event details:
- Session Title: The name of your Zoom meeting or webinar will be imported into Eventzilla.
- Start time & end time: The scheduled start and end times from the Zoom meeting will sync with the event, ensuring consistency across both platforms.
Automatic transfer of custom registration fields
If your event includes custom registration fields (such as attendee questions or additional data collection fields), this information will be passed on automatically to Zoom during attendee registration.
This makes sure that the attendee data collected through Eventzilla is properly synced with Zoom for your meeting.
Set up a Zoom meeting password (optional)
For added security, you can set or customize the Zoom meeting password directly from your Eventzilla account.
Simply enter a password (or select the default Zoom password) in the appropriate field.
This password will be shared with your attendees once they register, helping to secure access to your Zoom session.
