Understand the different order statuses
Once you're on the View Orders page, you will notice that each order is associated with a specific status. These statuses help you understand the current state of the order and whether the registration process has been completed successfully. Below are the different order statuses you may encounter:
Confirmed Only: This status indicates that the order has been successfully processed and the payment has been completed. The attendee is officially registered for the event.
Orders with the Confirmed status represent actual attendees who have successfully registered and paid for the event.
Pending Only: Orders marked as Pending are those for which the payment has not yet been processed. These orders are still awaiting payment confirmation. This status helps you identify attendees who have started the registration process but have not completed the payment yet. This is updated as the initial status for the orders processed using offline payment method such as pay by invoice, Bank transfer etc.
Cancelled and Pending: This filter displays both confirmed and pending orders. You will see all orders, whether they are successfully paid for and confirmed or still pending payment.
Incomplete/Abandoned: This status refers to orders where the payment has not been completed or the transaction was interrupted. These are typically orders where the attendee started the registration process but did not complete it, often due to a failed transaction or abandoned payment process.
It’s essential to monitor incomplete or abandoned orders to reach out to attendees and encourage them to complete their registration.
Cancelled Only: Orders marked as Cancelled are those that were initially confirmed but later cancelled by the organizer. This could happen for several reasons, such as the attendee being unable to attend the event or the event itself being cancelled. Keeping track of cancelled orders helps you manage event capacity and ensure that you don't overbook or make logistical arrangements for attendees who are no longer attending.
