How to export your order information?
Exporting your order information is a useful feature that allows event organizers to download all the relevant order and customer data for a particular event. This data can be saved as a CSV (Comma-Separated Values) file, which is compatible with various programs such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or any other spreadsheet software.
In this article, we’ll walk you through the steps to export your order information from your Eventzilla account.
Why export order information?
Exporting order information can be useful in a variety of situations, such as:
- Analyzing attendee data.
- Organizing event logistics.
- Importing data into external systems or databases.
- Keeping a backup of your event orders.
- Creating reports or charts using spreadsheet tools.
Steps to export order information
Follow these steps to easily export your order data into a CSV file:
Log into your organizer account.
Navigate to the Event > Registration and then click on View Orders. This will open a page that shows all the orders associated with your event, including attendee names, ticket details, order status, and more.
On the View Orders page, you will see the option to Export Orders. Click on the Export Orders button, which will begin the process of preparing your data for download.
After clicking "Export Orders," you will see a prompt or a link that says "Click here to download."
Click on this link to download your order information as a CSV file.
Once the CSV file has been downloaded to your device, you can open it using any program that supports CSV files, such as Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, or any other spreadsheet software.
What data is included in the export?
When you export your order information, the CSV file will contain the following details for each order:
- Event Date – The specific date or time of the event associated with the order.
- Order Reference Number – Unique identifier for each order.
- Buyer Name – The name of the person who placed the order or the registered attendee.
- Order Date – The date the order was placed.
- Ticket Quantity – The number of tickets purchased.
- Payment method - The payment option used for the order
- Total Price– The total amount paid for the order.
- Fees – Eventzilla fees for the order.
- Order Status – The order status (confirmed, pending, etc.).
- Buyer Email – The contact email of the person who placed the order or the registered attendee.
- Comments - If any comments entered while confirming an order
