How to edit attendee Information for an order?

As an event organizer, you may sometimes need to update the information provided by your attendees during the registration process. Whether it’s correcting a typo in a name, updating a phone number, or changing custom form field information collected during the registration.

Eventzilla allows you to easily edit attendee information associated with a specific order.

This article will walk you through the steps to edit an attendee's information in an order

When can you edit attendee information?

You can edit attendee information in cases such as:

Correcting mistakes: If the attendee made a typo or entered incorrect information during the registration process.

Updating contact information: If the attendee’s contact details (such as phone number or email address) have changed.

Modifying ticket registration details: When there’s a need to change any other details related to the attendee’s ticket.

Email Address Restrictions: The system does not allow you to update the attendee email address if the attendee has already created a self-service profile. Once an attendee has set up their profile, the email associated with their profile cannot be changed directly through the organizer’s admin.

Steps to edit attendee information

Follow these steps to easily edit attendee details for an order:

Log in to your Organizer account.

Select the event you want to manage.

Go to Registration > View Orders. This will open a list of all the orders placed for your event.

In the View orders page, locate the specific Order reference number (Ref No.) that you want to update.

Click on the Order Ref No. to open the details of the order.

Once you’ve opened the order details, find the attendee name and Click on the attendee name to access their registration information that you want to update.

In the attendee's details page, make the necessary changes to the fields you want to update (e.g., name, phone number, address, etc.).

After updating the required fields, click the Save button to apply the changes to the attendee's information.

If you want to notify the attendee of the changes made, you can choose the option to "Resend confirmation email with new details".

This will automatically send the updated confirmation email to the attendee, reflecting the changes made to their registration.
