How to Collect Event Payments Using Stripe
We make it easy to collect online payments for your event using Stripe, one of the supported payment processors. This guide will walk you through the process of setting up Stripe, managing your account, and ensuring seamless payment processing for your attendees.

How to add Stripe to your account
Follow these steps to connect your Stripe account to Eventzilla:
Log in to your Eventzilla account.
Navigate to Account settings > Connected accounts > Payment processing.
Under the Stripe logo, click the "Connect now" button.
You will be redirected to the Stripe website.
Enter the email address and password associated with your Stripe account.
Click Submit to complete the authentication process.
Once the authentication is successful, you will be redirected back to your Eventzilla account.
After successfully connecting your Stripe account you will see the Stripe secret key added to your account settings page.
The "Active since" date will indicate when your Stripe account was successfully linked.

Remove a stripe account
To remove a Stripe account, click the bin icon next to the respective Stripe account
Add multiple Stripe accounts
You can connect multiple Stripe accounts to manage payments for different events or registration types.
How do I add Stripe to my event?
Once you have successfully linked your Stripe account to your Eventzilla account, you will have the ability to designate Stripe as the online payment method when creating or editing any of your events. Be sure to select the Stripe option on the Event Setup > Payment Methods page of the event.
Stripe processing fee
The fees charged by Stripe typically include a small percentage of each transaction plus a fixed fee, which may vary depending on your region and the type of card used by the attendee. For example, in the United States, Stripe generally charges 2.9% + $0.30 per successful card transaction. However, fees may differ for international cards, currency conversions, or additional services like recurring billing or chargebacks.
