Understanding Agency Plans
Overview
The Agency Plan is specifically designed for marketing agencies, event management firms, and third-party coordinators who manage event registrations on behalf of their clients. By subscribing to Eventzilla's Unlimited Plan, agencies can streamline the entire event registration and management process for multiple clients — all within a single account.
This plan provides flexibility in how agencies choose to manage events and client access, making it easy to operate behind the scenes or provide clients with hands-on control.
Agencies typically use the Agency Plan when they:
- Manage multiple events across various clients.
- Require centralized billing and reporting.
Want the flexibility to either fully manage client events or allow clients partial control.
With this plan, agencies can choose between two modes of managing events for their clients:
- Fully Managed Events
- Client-Managed Events using Subuser Accounts.
Two ways agencies can manage client events
1. Fully Managed Events (Owner-Only Access)
Ideal for agencies who offer end-to-end event management services and do not require client involvement in the backend operations.
In this setup, the agency takes full control over the planning and management of the event.
How it works: Events are created and hosted under the agency’s main Eventzilla account.
Client access: Clients do not receive login access or visibility into the Eventzilla dashboard.
- Simplified workflow — all data and reports remain under the agency’s control.
- Clients rely entirely on the agency for updates, changes, and attendee information.
- Easier to standardize branding, templates, and event configurations.
Client-Managed Events (Subuser Access)
Best for agencies that offer support or partial management services but want clients to have direct control over their events
This option provides more autonomy to clients while still keeping the agency in control of the account.
How it works: Agencies invite clients as subusers within their main Eventzilla account.
Client access: Subusers get their own login credentials and can manage specific events assigned to them.
Permissions: Agencies can customize subuser access level to client manager
- Enables collaboration between agency and client.
- Clients can monitor real-time data, registrations, and performance.
- Agencies retain overall account control and oversight.
Choosing the Right Setup
When deciding which approach is best for your agency and clients, consider:
Criteria | Fully Managed Events | Client-Managed Events (Subusers) |
---|---|---|
Client access needed? | No | Yes |
Agency provides full service? | Yes | Partial or collaborative |
Who manages event settings? | Agency | Client (with agency oversight) |
Reporting and analytics | Handled only by agency | Accessible to both agency/client |
