How to Create Member-Only Tickets Using Tribely Integration

What is Tribely?

Tribely is a comprehensive membership management platform built to help organizers, associations, and community leaders manage their members, events, and engagement from a single, centralized system. Instead of relying on multiple tools, brings everything together in one easy-to-use online dashboard.

With Tribely, organizations can create and manage membership plans, onboard members, track renewals, process payments, and handle event registrations—all while keeping member information organized and accessible.


What You Can Do with Tribely Integration

With this integration, organizers can restrict specific ticket registrations exclusively to users who are enrolled in a Tribely membership program.

By connecting Tribely with Eventzilla, you can:

  • Create member-only ticket types
  • Offer exclusive pricing for members
  • Automatically recognize registered members during event registration
  • Track attendance for member-based events
  • Eliminate manual membership verification

Only attendees whose email addresses are enrolled in the selected Tribely membership program will be able to register for the restricted ticket type.

Start the Tribely Integration

While creating your event and adding ticket types, you will see the option:

“Need member-only tickets?”

To begin the integration:

  1. Click Start 60 Day Trial
  2. Click Create Membership Website

This will redirect you to the Tribely platform.

Create Your Tribely Account

On the Tribely page:

  1. Enter the required basic details to create your Tribely account
  2. Complete the account setup process
  3. Create your membership website and membership types

Once completed successfully, your Tribely account will automatically sync with Eventzilla.

Note: Please ensure that your membership website is published and the membership type is active.

Verify Successful Integration

After the integration is completed successfully:

  • A Connect to Eventzilla option will appear on the top-left corner of your Tribely admin account.
  • This confirms that your Eventzilla account is successfully connected to Tribely.

Restrict a Ticket Type to Members Only

To apply membership restrictions to a ticket type:

  1. Go to your Eventzilla event setup
  2. Navigate to the ticket type you want to restrict
  3. Select the required Tribely membership type
  4. Save the ticket settings

The selected ticket type will now become accessible only to members enrolled in the selected Tribely membership program.

How Member Validation Works

When an attendee attempts to register for a member-only ticket:

  • The attendee must enter an email address associated with an active membership in your Tribely account.
  • Eventzilla automatically validates the membership through the integration.
  • Only verified members will be allowed to complete the registration.

If the email address is not associated with the selected membership type, the registration will not be processed.

Notes

  • Ensure the membership type is properly configured in Tribely.
  • The membership website must be published for the validation to work correctly.
  • Membership validation is based on the attendee’s email address.
  • Only active members can access restricted ticket types.
