How to Add Sponsors to Your Event

Steps to add a sponsor

Go to the People > Sponsors

Click on the Add new sponsor button to start the process of adding a sponsor to your event.

Fill in the required sponsor details

You will need to provide the following information:

Sponsor name: Enter the official name of the sponsor as you want it displayed on your event page.

Sponsor logo: Upload the sponsor's logo image. Ensure the logo is of high quality and appropriately sized to fit the space on the page. It’s always a good idea to check if the logo looks clear and professional once uploaded.

Website URL: Provide the sponsor’s website URL. This allows attendees to quickly visit the sponsor's website directly from the event page.

Once all fields are filled out, click Save to add the sponsor to your event.

How to Change the Sponsor Listing Order

By default, sponsors are listed in the order in which they are added. However, you have the flexibility to rearrange their display order to meet your needs or prioritize certain sponsors. To reorder sponsors:

Drag and Drop

  • In the event admin section, you can easily rearrange the sponsors’ listing order by dragging and dropping the sponsor details into the desired position.
  • This flexibility ensures that you can feature your major sponsors or give prominence to particular sponsors depending on your event’s strategy.

How to manage sponsors for your event?

Managing your sponsors is just as important as adding them. Ensuring their information is up-to-date and accurately represented on your event page helps maintain your event’s professionalism and credibility. Here’s how to effectively manage your sponsor details:


1. Edit Sponsor Information

To make updates to a sponsor's details:

Click the Gear Icon: Next to each sponsor listed, you will see a gear icon. Clicking this icon opens a menu with options to manage the sponsor’s details.

Select Edit: If you need to update any information, such as the sponsor's name, logo, or website URL, click Edit. Make the necessary changes and click Save to update their details.

2. Delete a Sponsor

If you need to remove a sponsor from your event (for instance, if they withdraw their sponsorship or if there was an error in listing), you can do so easily:

Click the Gear Icon next to the sponsor's name.

Select Delete: This will permanently remove the sponsor from your event page.

Please note that deleting a sponsor is a permanent action and cannot be undone. Be sure you no longer need their details listed before proceeding.
