How to edit the basic event details for your event?

Accessing event details
To begin editing the event details, navigate to the Set Up section of the event and select Event Details. This is where you can manage and update all the basic information related to the event.
Mandatory Fields
Please note that some fields are mandatory and must be filled in before you can save the event details. These fields are marked with a red asterisk (*), and may not be able to proceed without completing them.
Event name
The title of your event.
Enter the name of your event in this field. This will be the primary identifier for your event, so ensure it's clear and descriptive.
Event type
The category or type of your event (e.g., Training, Conference, Social Gathering, etc.).
From the drop-down menu, choose the specific category that best describes your event. This helps in organizing and categorizing the events based on their nature and purpose.
Event language
The primary language in which the event will be conducted.
Select the appropriate language for your event from the available options. This is important for participants to know which language the event will be presented in.
Event currency
The currency used for payments, if applicable.
Choose the currency for the event. If you're organizing a free event (no charge for registration or participation), you can skip this field. However, if there are registration fees or other charges, make sure to select the correct currency.
Time zone
The time zone in which the event will take place.
Select the correct time zone for your event. This ensures that the event schedule is accurately displayed for all participants, regardless of their location.

The scheduled start and end times for the event.
- Event Starts: Set the date and time when the event will begin.
Event Ends: Set the date and time when the event will end.
Be sure to specify the correct times, as this is crucial for attendees to know when to join the event and how long it will last.
Event host
The profile of the person or organization hosting the event.
From the drop-down list, select the event organizer profile that will be associated with the event. This could be an individual or a company that is managing the event.
Organizer description
A brief description of the event organizer.
Provide a short description of the event organizer. This helps attendees understand who is hosting the event and gives a bit more context about the organization or individual behind it.
Event description
A detailed description of the event.
Write a comprehensive summary of your event, including what it is about, key activities, speakers, or any important details. This description will appear to participants and is important for attracting attendees.
Double-check all your entries to ensure accuracy, especially the mandatory fields marked with a red asterisk (*). If your event details are incomplete or incorrect, you may not be able to publish or share your event until the required information is provided.
