Once you have scheduled your networking meet, you can configure connection settings and matchmaking preferences to enhance attendee engagement.
Connection Rules
Carefully configure your connection rules to ensure the right attendees can network with each other.
These rules allow you to define who can connect with whom during the networking meet.
You have two configuration options:
Networking Open to All Attendees
- No restrictions — all registered attendees can discover and connect with each other.
Restrict Based on Ticket Type
- Use this option to filter connections by ticket type.
- Select specific ticket types that should be allowed to participate in the networking meet.
- Useful for events where VIPs, exhibitors, or premium ticket holders should connect within specific groups.
Maximum Meeting Invitations Per Attendee
Set a limit on how many meeting invites each attendee can send. This helps prevent spamming and ensures meaningful networking.
- You can specify a custom number of invitations per attendee.
- By default, the maximum limit is 30 invitations per attendee.

Matching Configurations
Use matching fields strategically to guide attendees toward relevant and productive meetings.
Matching configuration allows you to automate the connection process using attendee profile data and interests. This enables attendees to meet the most relevant people, enhancing networking effectiveness.
Matching configurations allow you to customize the fields used by the system to automatically suggest potential connections between attendees, speakers, and virtual booth members. By defining these "matchmaking" fields, you can help attendees connect with individuals who share similar expertise, interests, industry affiliations, or needs, leading to more valuable interactions.
Available Matching Fields
You can utilize the following toggles and corresponding tag fields to configure matching:
Expertise / Interests:
- Toggle this option ON to enable matching based on individual areas of knowledge and personal interests relevant to discussions at the event.
- Once toggled ON, an "Expertise / Interests" tag field will appear.
- Enter relevant tags that represent various areas of expertise or interests you anticipate among your attendees. For example, you might include tags like "Artificial Intelligence," "Marketing Strategy," "Software Development," or "Renewable Energy." Attendees who have these tags in their profiles will be more likely to be suggested to each othe
Industry:
- Toggle this option ON to enable matching based on the preferred industry of the attendees.
- When toggled ON, an "Industry" tag field will be displayed.
- Enter tags representing different industries relevant to your event. Examples could include "Healthcare," "Finance," "Technology," "Education," or "Manufacturing." Attendees who share industry tags will be suggested as potential connections.
Looking for/Offering:
- Toggle this option ON to facilitate connections based on what attendees are specifically seeking or offering at the event.
- Upon toggling ON, a "Looking for/Offering" tag field will appear.
Enter tags that describe specific needs, opportunities, or offerings that attendees might be interested in. Examples include "Looking for Investors," "Offering Partnership Opportunities," "Seeking Collaboration on Research," or "Offering Software Solutions."
