Why event organizers need to add credit or debit card details to their account?

When publishing an event, you may be prompted to enter your credit or debit card details. This step is necessary in certain cases to ensure a smooth billing process for Eventzilla's service fees.


Why we need your payment details?

If your event uses online payment providers that do not support automated fee collection and/or offline payment methods, We require your payment details to bill you for the service fees. Billing occurs on a monthly basis and only if you have eligible sales during the billing period.

How Eventzilla service fee is processed?

Online ticket sales with automated fee collection

Payments from online ticket sales are processed directly if your event uses any of the following payment processors:

      • Eventzilla Payments
      • PayPal
      • Square
      • Stripe

In these cases, you do not need to enter your card details as the fees are automatically deducted.

Monthly invoicing for Eventzilla fees:

If your orders are processed using any of the following methods, We will send a monthly invoice to collect our fee

      • Authorize.net
      • Braintree
      • All offline payment methods such as Check, Pay by Invoice, Bank Transfer, Cash (Pay at Door), etc.

For the above mentioned payment methods, you need to enter your card details to facilitate the monthly billing for Eventzilla's service fees.

Prompt for payment information

If you see a prompt requesting your payment information, it means we need your credit or debit card details to charge you for the service fees incurred through your use of our platform during the billing period. This ensures that all charges are handled efficiently and transparently.

By providing your payment details, you enable Eventzilla to maintain a seamless and reliable service, allowing you to focus on successfully managing and promoting your events.


How to change or update the credit card for your monthly invoice?

If you need to change or update the credit card details associated with your monthly invoice, please send an email to our support team at help@eventzilla.net. In your email, include your account details and a brief description of your request to update your credit card information.

Our support team will guide you through the process and provide the necessary options to update your card details.
