How to publish or unpublish an event?
How do I make my event live?
Once your event setup is complete, the final step before your attendees can start registering is to Publish the event page. Publishing the event makes it accessible to the public, allowing your audience to view event details, register, and start engaging with your event.
Before you publish your event, ensure that all necessary details, such as event name, date, location, ticket types, registration forms, and any other relevant information, have been fully set up. After publishing, the event page is live and accessible to the public. You can share the event link across social media, email newsletters, or any other marketing channels you’re using. The event is now open for registrations, and potential attendees can browse event details, choose their ticket type, and complete their registration.
When to unpublish an event?
Unpublishing an event is a useful option when you need to temporarily stop registrations or make changes to the event details without permanently removing it from your account. This feature is ideal if you anticipate reopening registrations after a short break or need to keep the event details accessible while preventing new sign-ups. Here's how to unpublish an event and when it’s the preferred option:
Temporary break in registrations
If you need to pause registrations for a short period, unpublishing the event is an effective way to ensure no new attendees can register during this time.
Event modifications
If you need to make significant changes to the event details, such as updating the schedule or ticket types, unpublishing the event allows you to make these updates without confusing or inconveniencing potential attendees.
Future registrations
If you plan to open registrations at a later date but want to keep the event listed in your organizer account, unpublishing it keeps the event hidden from public view while remaining accessible to you.
