How to manage ticket types for your event?
Once you've created ticket types for your event, you may need to make adjustments throughout the event lifecycle, such as editing, hiding, or deleting tickets. We offer flexible options for managing ticket types, allowing you to update ticket quantities, extend sale dates, or hide certain ticket types as needed. Here’s how you can effectively manage your ticket types at any stage of your event.
Follow the steps to view, edit, update, or delete ticket types
Navigate to "My Events"
Begin by logging into your account and heading to the "My Events" page. Select the event for which you want to manage ticket types.
Go to Registration > Ticket/registration
Once you're on the event page, click on the "Registration" section, then select "Ticket/Registration" to see all the ticket types you've created for that event.
Click the gear icon for ticket management
To manage a specific ticket type, locate the gear icon next to the ticket type you wish to modify. This will provide access to edit and delete options.
Edit ticket types
If you need to update ticket information such as the title, description, quantity, or sale dates, you can do this by selecting the “Edit” option.
Click the gear icon, then select "Edit." Update the necessary details and save your changes. Your edits will take effect immediately.
Commonly used to increase the ticket quantity and extend sale dates to increase the available tickets and allow more time for attendees to register respectively.
Delete ticket types
If a ticket type is no longer relevant, you can remove it from your event. Be careful, as this is a permanent action. Click the gear icon next to the ticket type, then choose the "Delete" option. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
Irreversible action: Once you delete a ticket type, it cannot be recovered. Double-check that you no longer need the ticket type before proceeding with deletion
Hide or show ticket types
Sometimes you may want to hide a specific ticket type without deleting it. Hidden tickets will not appear on the event registration page and cannot be purchased by attendees. Use this feature to temporarily hide a ticket that you may wish to reactivate later, or to manage early bird or special offer tickets that should no longer be displayed.
Toggle visibility
You can control the visibility of ticket types by clicking the eye icon. When the ticket is hidden, the eye icon will appear crossed out. To show the ticket again, simply click the icon once more.
By following these steps and options, you can efficiently manage ticket types, ensuring a smooth registration process for your event attendees.
