How to Add Custom Fields to Your Event Registration Form

Customizing your event's registration form allows you to collect the exact information you need from attendees. Whether you require basic details, file uploads, or multiple-choice responses, you can easily add custom fields to tailor the registration process.

Follow these steps to enhance your registration form with personalized questions:

Navigate to the registration form:

    • Go to your event's Registration > Registration form
    • Select New Question to begin adding a customized field

Choose the Type of Custom Question: You can select from a variety of field types based on the kind of information you wish to collect from your attendees:

Small Text Box

Best for: Short responses (e.g., name, phone number, email).

    • Enter the question label (e.g., "What is your job title?").
    • Click Save.

Enter the label or title for the question and click Save.

Large Text Box

Best for: Detailed answers (e.g., feedback, comments, or descriptions).

    • Enter the question label (e.g., "Tell us about your dietary restrictions").
    • Click Save.

File upload:

Best for: Collecting documents (e.g., resumes, certificates, or images).

    • Enter the question label (e.g., "Upload your resume").
    • Click Save.

Radio button:

Best for: Single-choice questions (e.g., "Preferred session time").

  • Enter the question label (e.g., "Select your preferred workshop").
  • Add the available options (e.g., "Morning," "Afternoon," "Evening").
  • Click Save.

Checkbox:

Best for: Single-choice questions in a compact format (e.g., "Select your payment method").

    • Enter the question label (e.g., "Choose your ticket type").
    • Add the available options (e.g., "Standard," "VIP," "Group").
    • Click Save.

Review & Publish

Once you’ve added all necessary fields, review the form to ensure accuracy.

Click Save to apply changes.

The new fields will now appear on your registration page for attendees to complete.
