How to invite speakers to create speaker profile?
Inviting speakers to create their individual profiles is a simple process that enables them to view and participate in their session(s). Follow these steps to invite a speaker:
Add speaker details: Begin by adding the speaker's details to the event. For detailed instructions on how to add speaker information, Please refer here
Invite speaker option: On the speaker creation step, organizer will see an option labelled "Invite speaker to view and participate in their session(s)".
Check this option to send an invite link to the speaker. Once selected, an email will be sent to the specified speaker with a link to activate their profile.
The speaker will receive an email containing the activation link. They can click on the link to begin the process of setting up their speaker profile.
Profile setup: Upon accessing the link, the speaker will follow the on-screen instructions to complete their profile setup. This allows the speaker to manage their session participation, upload content, and customize their profile.
Understanding speaker profile invitation status
The status of each speaker's profile invite helps you track the progress of their account activation. Here's what each status means:
Ready: The speaker has successfully activated their account by clicking the invitation link. Their profile is now active and they can manage their session(s).
Invited: The organizer has sent an invitation to the speaker, but the speaker has not yet clicked the link to activate their profile.
Expired: The invitation link has expired because it has passed the allotted time frame. The speaker will no longer be able to use the link to activate their account.
Revoked: The organizer has revoked the invitation, making the link inactive. The speaker cannot use this link to activate their account anymore.
Resend: If the speaker did not activate their profile or if the link has expired, the organizer can resend the invitation link. Additionally, the organizer can manage the speaker's permissions, such as allowing the speaker to edit their profile.
By monitoring these statuses, you can ensure that all speakers have successfully created and activated their profiles to participate in their sessions.
