How to set up ticket groups?

Why create a ticket group?

Event organizers may want to group certain tickets together for easier management and better presentation on the event page. For example, if you're selling tickets for the same event but on different days, or if you have different types of packages such as VIP or general admission tickets, grouping them together will make it more convenient for both you and your attendees. The ticket group name will be visible on the event page, allowing attendees to easily identify specific ticket types, such as "Friday Tickets" or "VIP Packages."

Steps to create a ticket group:

  1. From your Eventzilla dashboard, go to Event > Registration - Tickets/Registrations.
  2. Click on Ticket/Registration Group.
  3. Enter a Group title that clearly describes the tickets within the group.

For example, "Weekend Passes," "VIP Access," or "Day 1 Tickets."

  4. Add a Description to provide more details about the ticket group, if necessary. This can help attendees understand what the tickets within the group include.
  5. After creating the group, you can assign tickets to it. To display the tickets for this group, simply select them from the display menu. This will ensure that those tickets are displayed under the ticket group you’ve created.
  6. Once you’ve added the group title, description and assigned the tickets, click Save to create your new ticket group.

Organize and display on the event page

On the event page, your grouped tickets will be displayed in a more organized manner, making it easier for attendees to browse and select their tickets.

  1. You can also rearrange the order of the groups and tickets within them to ensure they appear in the desired sequence.

By grouping tickets, you can streamline the ticket purchasing process for your attendees while maintaining a well-organized event page.
