How to go live as the webinar host

As the webinar host, you can enter the webinar room before the scheduled start time to prepare your camera, microphone, and presentation. Attendees will not see your live video until you successfully start the webinar.

Follow these steps to go live.

Open the webinar Lobby

Open your webinar and go to the Lobby.

The Lobby is where you can access the webinar room and prepare before going live.

Enter the Room

From the Lobby, click Enter Room.

This opens the webinar room where you can prepare your setup before starting the live session.

Open the Studio

Inside the room, open the Studio.

The Studio is your workspace for preparing and managing the live webinar. Depending on your setup, you may also have access to a Demo Studio to familiarize yourself with the controls before going live.

Before starting the webinar, check:

• Camera
• Microphone
• Presentation or shared content
• Other available Studio settings

Go Live

When you are ready to start the webinar, click Go Live.

Once the webinar successfully goes live:

• Attendees can access the live session.
• Your live video becomes available to attendees.
• The Live timer starts.
• Recording indicators or badges appear when recording is active.

The live session begins only after the host successfully clicks Go Live.

Step 5: Monitor the live session

Once you are live, use the Studio controls to manage your presentation and session.

The Live timer helps you track how long the webinar has been live. If recording is enabled, recording indicators or badges show that the session is being recorded.

Step 6: Stop the live session

When the webinar is finished, click Stop Live.

This ends the live session for attendees. Follow any on-screen confirmation to complete the process.
